【BIOMOD 臺大代表隊在 2015 生物分子設計競賽奪金】
Team NTU Shine at 2015 BIOMOD Contest
2015 年在哈佛大學舉辦之生物分子設計競賽（Biomolecular Design Competition, BIOMOD），臺大代表隊奪得「金牌」，並且獲得「最佳演說」與「第五屆分子機器人研究年度大獎」。
Team NTU has done it again! Not only have our students won "Best Presentation" at the annual Biomolecular Design Competition for the 2nd consecutive year, they also took home the Gold Prize as well as the 5th Annual MOLBOT Award.
BIOMOD 臺大代表隊成員來自於臺大生科系、臺大電機系與臺大生技系的跨領域學生。在指導老師生技系陳彥榮老師與應力所江宏仁老師所開設的「生化專案設計與實務」的課程下完成研究主題發想與作品實作，今年以「奈米針筒獵殺抗藥性細菌」為研究主題獲獎。在這個研究當中，學生團隊以 DNA 摺紙技術 （DNA origami） 創造出奈米針筒結構，可以依據特定菌種，注射自殺基因誘使菌體走向凋亡。這個類似人工噬菌體的仿生奈米機器，搭配不同的菌種辨識序列適體（Aptamer），可達到特定菌種的「專一性注射」的能力。雖然是學生作品，但是對於病原與具備抗藥性之超級細菌之基因藥物釋放展開了新的可能。
